What is Sight Words with Samson Locking?

Locking is a new feature in Sight Words with Samson. When enabled, it forces students to go in order through their sight words lists. They have to master each step in order to move on to the next one. If you turn locking off, students will be allowed to attempt any step for any list. See the two screenshots below.

Here is an example of the Sight Words with Samson main menu with LOCKING TURNED ON. Notice the little lock icons on the gray boxes. The students will not be allowed to click on those boxes.


The next screenshot shows LOCKING TURNED OFF. The students can click on any step.
